Project Background
I love improving things. Steam is a video game digital distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched in September 2003 as a way for Valve to provide automatic updates for their games, but eventually expanded to include games from third-party publishers. As a user I experienced some friction and this was my attempt to fix it.
Details
The goals were to improve IA and UX flows, surface My Game Library while keeping it useful and relevant; create areas for social integration, game ratings, gameplay previews.
